September 10, 2026

We are pleased to provide the final update on our earthquake relief fundraising initiative.
With the generous support of our employees, business partners, friends and other donors, a total of S$50,884.00 was raised.

As shared in our previous update dated 28 April 2025, please click here for more information.
Part of the funds was used to purchase and deliver the following relief supplies to Mandalay, Myanmar:
• 30 ten-man tents
• 300 stretcher beds
• 300 blankets

The relief supplies arrived in Mandalay on 28 April 2025 and were received by our volunteers for onward deployment to hospitals and communities affected by the earthquake.
The funds raised were utilised as follows:

Total donations collected : $50,884.00
Relief supplies purchased : $13,099.49
Logistics and transportation : $12,114.83
Remaining donation balance : $25,669.68

Following the completion of the procurement and delivery of relief supplies for the Myanmar earthquake relief initiative, M&V decided to redirect the remaining funds to another urgent humanitarian cause.

The remaining balance was rounded up to S$25,670.00 and donated to the Singapore Red Cross in support of its humanitarian response for communities affected by the Venezuela earthquake.
According to the Singapore Red Cross, the contribution will support humanitarian assistance, including search and rescue operations, emergency medical care and assessments of urgent needs in the affected areas.

This marks the conclusion of our earthquake relief fundraising initiative. On behalf of M&V and the fundraising committee, we sincerely thank everyone who contributed to and supported this meaningful cause. Your generosity has provided practical assistance, relief and hope to communities in need.

Please refer to Donation to the Singapore Red Cross and Letter of Appreciation from the Singapore Red Cross.
